Royals Attending Prince Philip’s Memorial Service

When Queen Elizabeth’s beloved husband Prince Philip passed away last year, his funeral services were altered because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Only 30 people were allowed to attend, and due to pandemic restrictions, guests who were not members of the same household had to sit six feet apart.

Last month, Buckingham Palace announced a Service of Thanksgiving for the life of Prince Philip, which will be held at Westminster Abbey on March 29, 2022. Prince Harry returned to the UK for Prince Philip’s funeral in April last year, but he will not return for the service. His spokesperson said that he hopes to visit his grandmother the Queen as soon as possible.
